Posted by Bigone

JUST CURIOUS WHAT ARE PEOPLE'S FAVORTIVE LOW CARB MEALS CAUSE I JUST STARTED A CUTTING CYCLE AND I AM GETTING SICK OF THE SAME SHIT. FOR NOW I HAVE BEEN EATING ALOT OF FILET MIGNON (CAN'T COMPLAIN), TUNA (YUCH!!), CHICKEN BREAST, CHICKEN SALAD WITH LIGHT MAYO, CHICKEN CEASER SALAD, AND ALOT OF SHRIMP.

i eat a lot of the same stuff minus the tuna. you can prepare chicken breast in so many ways that i have never gotten tired of it. the key is marinating. find some healthy marinades and marinate for 3-24 hours, then grill it or do whatever you do. go to www.allrecipes.com and you can find a lot of stuff with reveiws, cook times and nutrition info.

I dont eat "low carb", per say, but i eat a 45-40-15 diet (protein, carbs, fat). I eat a lot of Turkey sandwiches, tuna sandwiches, chicken sandwiches, and ham sandwiches (99% lean ham). Also, as always, a ton of chicken breasts. Most my sandwiches are deli meat my mom buys (by the pounds, haha) and we always go to buy tuna in bulk. On the side, I almost religiously have SOME amount of cottage cheese, usually a 1/2 cup. If it is before dinner, i might add a 1/2 cup oatmeal because i love the stuff and its one of the best carb sources. I almost always also have egg beaters (like four egg whites, or whatever) too. On occasion ill have a can of good bean or steak soup. And oh yeah, all the bread i get is low cal wheat. I have like 3 slices for a chicken sandwich and pretend it is a big mac! since its low cal - 3 slices are only 130 cals! That helps with the carbs and the bread still tastes great. That is normally for dinner or lunch or both, i live off the stuff.

As for breakfast, it is a meal i try to get 40-45-15 out of since carbs are more important to have in the morning. I always have about 3/4 cup oatmeal (and when i keep talking about oatmeal, i mean the plain oats with water, not the shit in the little bags with dinosaurs that change colors), eggs, and some low call toast. When i say eggs, i mean egg beaters of course. I have low cal syrup (35 cals for 1/4 cup) also and splenda to sweeten whatever i would like in the morning (oatmeal!) and not add hardly any calories.

For mid meals, i will probably have more oatmeal and eggs if its morning, or maybe a huge salad and a small sandwich in the afternoon.

Of course, always at 9:30 i have my protein shake with about 40 g protein and 15 g carbs (cuz its night). If it were after a workout carbs and protein would even out. I dont take any supplements except whey, and have great results, and fucking love to eat!! I am only 135 lbs though, so my 2250 diet is helping me gain muscle but since i am doing it right i am not gaining hardly any fat!

Remember oatmeal, oatmeal, OATMEAL! it has good carbs and fiber and i highly recommend it, even if you are on this low carb diet you still need some, so at least have a little in the morning. Buy splenda too, it tastes LIKE sugar i shit you not and about 3 packs in a 1/4 cup will taste sooo good.

I am getting carried away, i love bulking! I prolly didnt give you many ideas but im just saying waht i eat.
