What type of beans have the most protein

Posted by Moeshodan

Been consuming a bunch of the steak and chicken but it is starting to get expensive, what are the best beans to eat which contain the highest protein values? Thanks bros

I normally buy Red beans but I don't remember the name, I'll check tonight and post it tomorrow...but remember that you can't totally subside chicken or beef for bean protein as their protein structure is incomplete...

Chickpeas, lentils, soy beans...

kidneys are the red beans youre talking about... they have a lot of fiber and protein

Soy Beans have a ton of protein and they arent that bad. You can usually buy frozen edamame(shelled, blanched soy beans) at any wholesale club or health food store. They're great for protein and taste pretty good...rich people pay up to $6 a bowl for them at sushi places

Beans are also high in carbohydrates. So if you are on a lower carb diet, they won't help you. And for God's sake, stay away from soy! Soy has "anti-nutrients", compounds that make whatever nutrition they do have, almost useless. Moreover, they contain phytoestrogens, compounds that mimic mammalian estrogen. A man really needs estrogen? I think not.
